1988-89 Golf Team

 The Skidmore golf program has established itself as one of the nation's premier programs and the 1988-89 team helped set the tone for that success with its fourth place finish in the 1989 NCAA Championships. It was Skidmore's first ever athletic team to participate in an NCAA Championship. Four players earned All-America honors, including former Skidmore coach and team Captian. David Bakyta, David Hathaway, Jan Wivestad, and Jim Welsh.  All four and Bill Rosenblum earned All-District honors.
